As we journey through Advent, our school community has been living out our mission in with hope, peace, joy and love!

Travelling Cribs
Families have welcomed the Travelling Cribs into their homes, creating special moments of prayer and reflection as we prepare for the birth of Jesus. Thankyou to EYFS who created a special video for this year's crib! We have a very special crib in school that has been used for many, many years! Our KS1 Bright Lights enjoyed visiting the crib and making Nativity sets for EYFS, Y1 and 2 to play with in class.

Advent Wreaths
Every class makes their own Advent Wreath as a symbol of the four precious weeks of Advent. Wreaths are round to show that God has no beginning or end; the evergreen foliage represent God's never-ending love. Can your child remember why the candles are different colours?

Year 4 Advent Celebration of the Word.
Year 4 told us the story of the little Shepherd boy who collected symbols to remind him of the prophecies foretold of baby Jesus - a child who was MORE than anyone ever imagined.
We remembered how WE are more than anyone could ever hope too. We are so special - made in the image of God, and He has great plans for us. We put our hope and trust in God this Advent.
