Living our Mission: November Highlights
|
November is a month of Remembrance and Hope, and every year group is embracing this special time with activities that deepen faith and community. Here is what is happening across St Patrick's:
Families are warmly invited to add a poppy to our front‑of‑school display in memory of loved ones. Together, we create a visible sign of prayer and gratitude.
Children from the Diocese choir were joined by children from school to sing at the Remembrance Sunday Mass at St Patrick's Church. |

Preparing for Y6 Residential to Robinwood!
Thankyou to Ellie who helped to prepare prayer bags for each of the dorm rooms, and to the children who visited Mission Control and made good luck cards for the children!
It is important that we remember our relationship with God wherever we are in the world.

Our Virtue for the half term is Hope.
As we remember and look forward to Advent, our virtue is Hope—a light that guides us through reflection and anticipation. |

Our Jubilee Theme is Opening the Door to Community.
We’re excited to join the Holy Redeemer Parish Christmas Fair! This is helping to raise money for the Parish restoration fund. These acts of service and solidarity show our commitment to community and mission. |

Jubilee Festival of Light! In November, we recognised the Cafod Jubilee pledge day with a very sparkly day! We celebrated the importance of light as a symbol of faith and hope for Christians and many other world religions, and held our own festival of light on 21st November. We named our very own star and were excited to be able to be a lasting part of God's amazing creation. This day was a day to sparkle and shine, and to come together as a whole school community.
Thankyou to the children who helped to make lanterns, paper chains, and who helped to write and read prayers and reflections for their own faith on the day. |

We know that the things we do are different to other schools because we are trying to live like Jesus. |

Our Mission in November...
You are the light of the world; let your light shine before others, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.Matthew 5:14,16
