Our Renewed Mission Statement
In 2025, Pope Francis announced the Jubilee Year of Hope for Catholics across the world. As part of this special year, schools were invited to review and renew their mission statements and we worked on this together as a school community.
Children, Families, Staff, Governors and Parish were invited to contribute their ideas and these were used to craft a new Mission Statement. This is now being used as a school prayer and as a revised Code of Conduct as part of the Behaviour Policy.
Artwork for the Mission Statement was created by Isla Madej, a Y6 Pupil in 2025.
At the heart of our school is the belief that Christ lives in our hearts and minds—just as St Patrick taught us. Inspired by the faith and courage of St Patrick, we aim to create a loving, inclusive community where every person is valued, nurtured and empowered to reach their full potential.
With Christ as our constant guide, we foster a spirit of learning, kindness and respect; preparing our children to walk confidently and compassionately into the world.
- Christ be in our hearts and minds as we are kind and respectful to everyone.
- Christ be in our hearts and minds as we grow in curiosity and wisdom, becoming life-long learners.
- Christ be in our hearts and minds as we serve others with love and patience.
- Christ be in our hearts and minds as we face challenges with courage, resilience and faith.
- Christ be in our hearts and minds as we work together as a community to embrace difference and build a world of hope.
